Embracing Divine Truth: A Journey to Self-Discovery and Renewal

**The First Reading**

Julia opened the Bible and showed it to Ana.

“Ana, I want you to read this verse. It’s from the book of Psalms, chapter 139, verse 14. It says, ‘I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well,’” Julia said, with emotion.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well,” Ana read, with surprise.

“What does this verse tell you? What does it mean to you?” Julia asked, with interest.

“It tells me that God created me, that He knows me, that He loves me. It tells me that I am special, that I am wonderful, that I am marvelous. It tells me that I have value, that I have purpose, that I have a destiny,” Ana said, astonished.

“Do you believe that? Do you agree with that? Do you feel that?” Julia asked, curiously.

“I don’t know. I want to believe, I want to agree, I want to feel. But I can’t. I have so many doubts, so many insecurities, so many wounds. I have so many limiting beliefs that tell me otherwise, that make me doubt, that make me suffer,” Ana said, sadly.

“Ana, I want you to know that this verse is the truth. It’s God’s truth about you. It’s the truth He wants you to believe, to agree with, to feel. It’s the truth He wants you to live, to declare, to share. It’s the truth He wants you to be set free by, to be transformed by, to be renewed by,” Julia said, with conviction.

“But how can I do that? How can I change my way of thinking, of feeling, of acting? How can I change my limiting beliefs?” Ana asked, anxiously.

“You can do that by using the power of God’s Word. God’s Word is living, is effective, is powerful. It can penetrate your mind, your heart, your soul. It can illuminate your darkness, break your chains, heal your wounds. It can renew your mind, transform your heart, restore your soul,” Julia said, with passion.

“And how can I use the power of God’s Word?” Ana asked, with interest.

“You can use the power of God’s Word by reading it, meditating on it, confessing it, praying it, practicing it. You can use the power of God’s Word to fight your limiting beliefs, to replace them with empowering beliefs, to reprogram your brain, to recreate your reality,” Julia said, enthusiastically.

“That sounds amazing,” Ana said, with admiration.

“It is amazing. And I will show you how to do it. I will give you a practical example, using this verse we just read,” Julia said, with confidence.

“Please, show me,” Ana said, expectantly.

“Alright, let’s do this. First, I want you to read this verse out loud, attentively, faithfully, gratefully. I want you to read it as if it were a declaration, an affirmation, a prayer. I want you to read it as if it were for you, as if it were about you, as if it were from you,” Julia said, instructively.

“Alright. I’ll try,” Ana said, willingly.

“Let’s go. Read with me,” Julia said, encouragingly.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well,” Ana read, with Julia.

“Very good. Now, I want you to meditate on this verse, to think about it, to reflect on it. I want you to ask yourself what it means, what it implies, what it reveals. I want you to ask yourself how it applies to your life, how it relates to your situation, how it connects with your story,” Julia said, guidingly.

“Alright. I’ll try,” Ana said, willingly.

“Let’s go. Think with me,” Julia said, encouragingly.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. This means that God created me with a purpose, with a design, with an intention. This implies that God gave me gifts, talents, abilities. This reveals that God loves me, values me, accepts me. This applies to my life because I can use what God gave me to glorify Him, to serve others, to fulfill my calling. This relates to my situation because I can overcome my problems, my fears, my pains. This connects with my story because I can see what God has done, what God is doing, what God will do,” Ana thought, with Julia.

“Very good. Now, I want you to confess this verse, to speak about it, to declare it. I want you to speak as if it were a truth, a reality, a certainty. I want you to speak as if it were to God, as if it were to you, as if it were to the world,” Julia said, guidingly.

“Alright. I’ll try,” Ana said, willingly.

“Let’s go. Speak with me,” Julia said, encouragingly.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. I thank you, God, for helping me change my limiting beliefs, for helping me replace them with empowering beliefs, for helping me reprogram my brain, for helping me recreate my reality. I acknowledge you, God, for teaching me to see myself as you see me, for teaching me to love myself as you love me, for teaching me to live as you want me to live. I worship you, God, for transforming me by your Word, for healing me by your Word, for freeing me by your Word. I ask you, God, to be my guide, my teacher, my friend. I ask you, God, to be my Father, my Creator, my Savior. I surrender to you, God, my life, my heart, my soul. I surrender to you, God, my problems, my fears, my pains. I surrender to you, God, my dreams, my plans, my projects. I surrender to you, God, everything I am, everything I have, everything I can. I surrender to you, God, because I trust in you, because I depend on you, because I need you. I surrender to you, God, because I love you, because I worship you, because I praise you. Amen,” Ana prayed, with Julia.

“Amen,” Julia said, with emotion.

“Wow. That was the most sincere, most profound, most beautiful prayer I’ve ever made in my life. I felt so close to God, so touched by God, so loved by God. I felt so different, so new, so alive,” Ana said, with admiration.

“I’m glad you felt that. That’s the power of God’s Word. It can do wonderful things in your life if you allow it, if you believe it, if you obey it,” Julia said, with joy.

“I want to allow it, I want to believe it, I want to obey it. I want God’s Word to be part of my life, to be my compass, my food, my treasure. I want God’s Word to transform me, to heal me, to free me,” Ana said, with
